Creative Problem Solving with Systemic Maps
March 21 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Event Navigation
Bring your business challenge to this creative problem-solving workshop and learn the ‘grammar’ of systemic mapping. Through using visuals and 3D objects hidden relationship dynamics and blocks to growth as well as stakeholder needs and underused resources become visible. Consequently, high impact actions crystalise and solution paths are unlocked. You will go away with a clearer picture of the future of your business and an increased capability for effective problem-solving and decision making.
Challenges you could work on:
- Complex contexts (multiple investors or partners, scale up, regulations)
- Conflicting opportunities; difficulties in making decisions; alignment of resources
- Evaluation of your product or service portfolio
- Communication and people issues, problems resurfacing repeatedly
Testimonials
“I couldn’t really imagine that it would be any different to marking things out on paper like we usually do, but to actually see our world in a 3D perspective somehow made a much deeper impression. The mapping enabled us to visualise our position in relation to our forces around us. It made me realise that our biggest strength is also our greatest vulnerability. I don’t think I had ever looked at our position like that before” (Travel Entrepreneur)
“Attending one of Claudia’s workshops reaffirmed our belief in the power of creative problem-solving through visual thinking. A brilliant session helped us make a crucial, real-life business decision, helping us focus time and energy on the right areas when it could have been easy for us to become sidetracked by other opportunities. Visual thinking allows you to move the problems and challenges from your head into a 3D space that can be touched, moved and manipulated, offering you different perspectives and clarity of thought. We recommend this approach for anyone facing complex business or personal challenges.” (Jamie Murray, Co-founder Lawboxdesign)
“I really enjoyed the workshop, by the end of it I was able to visualise and think clearly through a major decision for my business by dividing the problem into two parts.” (Yankho Mpokosa, Entrepreneur)
“This innovative mapping process is a refreshing method for tackling difficult challenges and broadens out one’s perspectives. I would recommend it as a novel way of solving a variety of intractable problems.” (CFO)
“It is a wonderful tool I have now in my toolbox, and I can apply it immediately” (Entrepreneur)
