Celebrating 6 Years of Innovation with Nikalyte at Heyford Park Innovation Centre
We are thrilled to celebrate the 6th anniversary of Nikalyte, a pioneering company in nanomaterials technology, based right here at Heyford Park Innovation Centre. Over the past six years, Nikalyte has made remarkable strides in the field of plasma vapour deposition (PVD) systems and instruments, contributing significantly to advancements in medical nanotechnology, environmental monitoring, and green energy solutions.
A Journey of Innovation and Growth
Nikalyte launched its first compact nanoparticle deposition system in 2020 and has since supplied its unique technology to academic and industrial research groups worldwide. Their cutting-edge technology produces nanomaterial coatings from materials such as gold, silver, and copper, which have applications in healthcare, narcotics detection, and more.
Expanding Capabilities
Recently, Nikalyte expanded their manufacturing capabilities at Heyford Park Innovation Centre to facilitate the build of larger and more complex PVD vacuum systems. This expansion not only allows them to build and test larger systems but also provides a dedicated space to showcase their technology to customers and visitors.
Impactful Applications
Nikalyte’s technology is currently being used in various impactful applications, including the development of new catalyst materials for green hydrogen, law enforcement narcotics screening, and high sensitivity biosensors used to detect cancer biomarkers. The team are seeing increasing demand for their products for use in quantum materials research for superconductors and quantum computing and Nikalyte’ s expertise is paving the way for significant advancements in these fields
