Customers Oxartis supporting the Oxford Prospects Programmes
Oxartis is dedicated to transforming the lives of patients who have suffered significant tissue loss through innovative treatments that accelerate tissue regrowth, minimise wound infection, and reduce scarring. Their technology involves creating a 3-dimensional biological tissue scaffold that promotes and organises the formation of new tissue, which is particularly targeting severe skin traumas such as burn injuries, ulcers, and surgical wounds.
In addition to their groundbreaking work in tissue regeneration, Oxartis actively supports the Oxford Prospects Programmes, which offer short courses for students. Recently, two groups of first-year students visited the Heyford Park Innovation Centre, where Dr. Julian Dye and his team provided insights into the process of MedTech Innovation and commercialisation, and their project. The visit included demonstrations using the Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), which is available for hire.
This combination of cutting-edge research and educational support highlights Oxartis’s commitment to both advancing medical science and fostering the next generation of innovators.
