New Customers Extractus Join HPIC
We had the pleasure of catching up with one of our new customers here at Heyford Park Innovation centre, and learning a little more about what they do and what their plans are going forward.
Introducing Extractus
At Extractus Ltd, we specialise in providing extractables and leachables risk assessments and testing for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer health industries.
What Are Extractables and Leachables?
These are chemical substances that can migrate into products from sources like packaging or manufacturing systems. They can pose a health risk to consumers if present in sufficient quantities in finished products, and need to be identified, quantified, and reviewed to ensure product safety.
How We Help
We partner with pharmaceutical and consumer health companies to assess and mitigate these risks, ensuring products meet regulatory standards and remain safe for consumers.
Our Expertise
We handle a variety of products, from orally inhaled and nasal drug products, parenterals, and medical devices to consumer health formulations.
Operating to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, we are committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive, and flexible services to support our clients with all their E&L needs.
Why Heyford Park Innovation Centre?
We chose Heyford Park Innovation Centre for its convenient location and cost-effectiveness. The community atmosphere and support from the HPIC team have been invaluable in our growth. Special thanks go to the centre’s Innovation Director, Wendy Tindsley, for her valuable introductions that will drive our business forward.
What’s Next?
We’re looking forward to expanding our client base and capabilities in the upcoming year as we establish ourselves further.
