She has lectured on entrepreneurial marketing at Anglia Ruskin University and Lincoln University Business School. As an independent consultant\, Babita supports personal and business growth\, to scale up high potential\, innovative start-ups and SMEs through the Accelerate Programme at the Judge Business School\, part of Cambridge University. She is Innovation Director for Oxford Innovation’s centre in Cambridgeshire and more widely across the UK as a Mentor for Barclays Eagle Labs. \nJane Fryatt\nHR consultant \nJane is a highly competent and knowledgeable HR Consultant with over 18 years’ experience in HR and people management gained across a range of industries including media and publishing\, science\, technology and engineering. A Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development\, Jane has worked extensively with senior executives and operational managers\, managing complex disciplinary and grievance situations\, dealing effectively with issues such as poor performance\, sickness absence and time keeping\, improving employee engagement and reducing HR admin through technology. Jane loves to bring practical\, down to earth HR support to small business owners to take the stress away when they have an HR issue and help them to get the best from their people. \nDeborah McCormack\nDirector\, Change Reaction \nDeborah runs a Change Management Consultancy called Change Reaction. She has worked around the world\, across all sectors\, in the field of Business Psychology and Change Management for the past 26 years. With a collaborative ‘abundance’ mindset her key strength is working with organisations to help them espouse their purpose\, values and strategy for the future. Deborah ensures leaders are ignited\, organisations are enlivened\, cultures invigorated and importantly that any change is integrated\, thoughtful and effective. She is currently consulting to GlaxoSmithKline as a Global Change Leader focussing on how to manage Third Party Risks worldwide with new systems\, processes and behaviours to support the enterprise. \nTracy Smart\nFounder & CEO\, The Smart Team \nTracey is a Finance Director who is passionate about making a difference and delivering results for small and scale-up businesses. Exit planning at the start helps entrepreneurs build and structure their business correctly and drives the best value at the end. \nSpeakers: \nMarlin Svanberg Larsson\nCorporate Partner\, Freeths \nMalin specialises in advising businesses on a wide range of corporate matters from starting up\, early-stage investment (including S/EIS funding) right through to exit (whether that is to private equity\, or national or international acquirers). She also advises on joint ventures\, strategic acquisitions and corporate governance for clients across a range of sectors including technology\, manufacturing and consultancy. Malin is well regarded for her highly attentive and solutions-orientated approach and is known for bringing sound commercial understanding of achieving business goals and objectives. \nRob Nicoll\nExecutive Chairman\, Zeta Compliance Services \nRob has specialised in the development and application of software (Software as a Service) for the management of regulatory ‘environmental’ data for much of his career. In 1998 he setup Zeta Compliance Services which specialised in air and water hygiene management. Zeta expanded significantly and in 2004 branched out into software development. In May 2008\, Rob listed the business group on PLUS (a London stock exchange) and then delisted Zeta Compliance Group plc in 2012. He then started the process of demerging the various business units and ultimately selling them privately in two sales in December 2019 and July 2021. Rob has valuable experience in raising investment\, putting it to work\, developing valuable executives and management teams – ultimately building shareholder value and delivering it. \nAndy Robinson\nSenior Business Development Manager\, Codebase\n\nAndy works at the intersection of Business Development\, Value Proposition Design and Product Management. He was previously CCO at Cultivate\, where he led their acquisition by Deliveroo before joining their engineering leadership team and heading up their Edinburgh tech office. He currently leads an early-stage start-up in the restaurant tech space\, and is a mentor\, investor and advisor with numerous early stage tech companies. Andy enjoys positioning and selling complex software solutions and leading high performing cross-functional teams to solve interesting problems.
